Assessing the process of Gezeravcı's return to Earth, TÜBİTAK SPACE Project Manager Ataş stated, "It is expected that astronauts will be kept under observation for a standard week and the adaptation process will be completed."

The live broadcast of Alper Gezeravcı's journey from the International Space Station (ISS) to Earth was moderated by TÜBİTAK SPACE Group Leader Sadık Murat Yüksel at the Turkish Space Agency (TUA), with the participation of Astronaut Tuva Cihangir Atasever and TÜBİTAK SPACE Senior Specialist Can Bayraktar.

Throughout the program, live connections were established with science centers in Gaziantep, Konya, and Antalya, as well as the Göktürk Space Aviation Training Center (GUHEM) in Bursa, allowing young people to be involved in the process.

TÜBİTAK SPACE Project Manager Ataş, who monitored the descent process of the Ax-3 crew to Earth from Axiom Space's control center in the USA, noted during the program that the Gezeravcı family also followed the descent from the region.

Ataş indicated that after landing in the water, the first team reached the astronauts with assault boats, stating, "After being brought aboard, doctors will open one of the capsule doors and enter to check the astronauts' condition. They will take them out of the capsules one by one. Astronauts will be taken to the control room inside the rescue ship, where initial checks will take place. Initially, their water and food needs will be met. They will change into space suits, then proceed to the nearby airport via helicopter, and then immediately head to Houston. The time from landing in the water to Houston will take about 5-6 hours. It is expected that astronauts will be kept under observation for a standard week and the adaptation process will be completed."

Astronaut Atasever expressed that it was an indescribable honor and happiness to see the interest of young people, stating, "Sharing this process with young people is an incredible joy. They are so interested, curious, and eager to understand that seeing their excitement is truly a source of happiness."

Atasever also emphasized the significance of Turkish being spoken for the first time on the ISS, hoping that this would lead to a paradigm shift and that young people would embrace it.

"We plan to put Turkey's name on the Moon as well," said TÜBİTAK SPACE Group Leader Yüksel, noting that Gezeravcı took the crescent and star to where they belong. "Turkish was in space. This is another source of joy. Like in every aspect of life, we can include space technologies as well."

Yüksel highlighted that Turkish youth will now have astronauts as their role models, and he hoped that astronauts' lives would be memorized just like admired footballers.

TÜBİTAK SPACE Senior Specialist Bayraktar expressed great excitement throughout the process in space from launch onwards and mentioned how they could read the excitement of the youth from their eyes. Referring to other goals within the National Space Program, Bayraktar said, "First, a hard landing on the Moon, then a soft landing, and we also plan to put Turkey's name on the Moon."
