An individual, whose identity has yet to be determined, jumped onto the tracks at the Feneryolu Marmaray station while trains were in service. At around 4:30 p.m. local time, the person approached the platform as trains were running. Suddenly, the person jumped onto the tracks and was struck by the train.

The train conductor noticed the situation and alerted the authorities. Upon receiving the report, the police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

The police implemented security measures at Marmaray, and train services were halted. Medical teams confirmed the individual's death. The body was taken to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institute, and train services resumed after a while.
