It has emerged that cats taking refuge in the lobby of the facility named Seven For Life Thermal Hotel in Kuşadası District of Aydın were killed in accordance with the instructions of the hotel management. Despite the hotel promoting itself as pet-friendly, foreign tourists were disturbed by the cats. The hotel management requested the removal of the cats.

Claiming to be animal-friendly, Seven For Life Thermal Hotel requested the removal of cats from the lobby due to foreign tourists being disturbed by them.

Several cats taking shelter in the hotel during cold weather were put into a sack and thrown away in the garbage due to the discomfort of a foreign guest, and it was learned that all the cats were killed during the capture, with some severely injured during the process.

Some animal lovers stated that the killing of cats is unacceptable and that options such as neutering and adoption under veterinary supervision should be implemented instead.

Footage captured by an animal-friendly guest in the video stirred up animal lovers, while some hotel customers complained to international sites about the situation experienced, filing a complaint against the management of Seven For Life Thermal Hotel.
